Time Delayed

Monday, Monday. Ah, Monday.
We woke early this morning and had so much time that the kids enjoyed a leisurely bath. We had a lovely breakfast and my daughter did her homework as she chewed on rye toast. We sauntered down the street only to arrive at the school an hour late.

Did anyone else forget to change the clocks?

Nope, you're alone.

the thing is, you didn't realize until you deposited them at school, thereby avoiding all the stress you would have had had you discovered it a any point proir to that moment.

Hope you still had time to go for your tea.

Oh, that's hilarious. Well done, dude! And here the rest of us dragged our sorry butts out of bed, all hurtin' from the lost hour, and got to work on time like SUCKERS. Suckers, I tell you.

How did you make it through an entire Sunday without figuring out the time change? Were you like, raising a barn in Amish country or something?

Imagine me braying with laughter.
And no. But we did sleep accidentally in and then we had to run around, shrieking. It was the opposite of restful.

DUDE, I'm glad I'm not the only one that had problems with the time change. Time changes kick my ass!

Funny. I'm always glad that I have a radio-controlled alarm-clock. Little imps make it change the time without me having to know when. Very good.
